Let us answer some of your questions:
- Think Pink Inc. is a 501 c3 non profit organization.
- We are 100% a volunteer organization with no paid staff.
- We rely on volunteers for everything as well as the generosity of donors.
- We partner with school nurses, food pantries and CIS to provide needed sanitary items for girls. This keeps the girls in school and practicing good period health.
- We also provide need hygiene items when requested by our schools. Items include: Deodorant, Bar Soap, New Underwear, Shampoo and Hygiene Wipes.
- Donors can easily donate online, shop our amazon wishlist or host a drive to collect specific sanitary/hygiene supplies.
- Partnering with Think Pink Inc. is a choose your own adventure model. We can design a partnership that works for both groups.
- There are no age restrictions on volunteering.
- Moms and daughters can even assemble our S-Kits at home.
- A S-Kit is a sanitary kit of 5-8 pads or 5-6 tampons/pantyliners. They come in a cute pink bag with an encouraging note card and a pink heart sticker.
- We currently partner with 36 SBISD schools and are venturing out to other school districts. We also partner with some local food pantries.
- NCL chapters can assemble kits at their meeting times or set up a specific date and time to assemble kits. We have how to videos and instructional sheets available.
- There are even opportunities for girls to earn volunteer hours by making educational and fun videos highlighting period poverty, period health and the importance of supporting each other.
- Our director is available to come and speak to the chapters.
- We are located in Spring Branch. Our mailing address is 2312 Shadowdale Drive, Houston, TX 77043
